A Tropius is soaring on the wind, desperately seeking any Water Pokemon or trainers that might be partnered to one. If you fall within his sight, he will swoop down, trumpeting in panic, and lead you north of the CMA to where the woods are burning.
 
If you follow him there, you will see Sapphire and May attempting to restrain the blaze with a combination of firebreak trenches and Light Screen barriers...]

[This island, the gods that govern it, or some combination of the two quite apparently hate themselves. As if bringing May here wasn't bad enough, they let her find a box full of matches.

As anyone who's even heard of the term "idiot" before might be able to guess, this doesn't end well. The details will forever remain as history, but the end result isn't quite as hidable.

You know that forest? That one west-northwest of the CMA? If you happen to be visiting, bring some marshmallows. Half of it's on fire by now.

[So there's Francesca. Walking... well, more like half-skipping... through the CMA gnawing on one of her bars of her precious Swiss chocolate. After a while she stops and looks around, finger tapping on her chin.]

By bells where are all the decorations in this place? I think Awesome Island could do with some festivity, as Christmas comes but once a year and it's a time where...

[As Francesca goes off on yet another of her tangents... yes, to herself, she's like that... a rumbling noise is heard and bursting out of the top of Francesca's hat is an endless array of mistletoe sprigs that, like the confetti explosion a few months ago, scatter themselves all around the island. Francesca jumps at hearing the noise, then looks up at all the falling mistletoe. She laughs, taking another bite of her chocolate.]

OKAY SO ANYWAYS as you may have guessed yes, the mistletoe is cursed. Go crazy but there are two things. One, if your character picks up a piece of mistletoe he/she/it/nuke WILL be attracted to the first person or Pokemon he/she/it/nuke sees. Two, if kissed by the mistletoe holder the person or Pokemon WILL find themselves kissing back. Yay awkwardness?

That's now all bai bai. o/ ))

[A Persian just sort of... appears on a street somewhere with a Cobalt Bow around his neck. And attached to that is a shiny golden badge.

His head's held high. He's smiling as much as a cat can be.

He turns his head over his shoulder to give the Raichu behind him a nod, then expects them to take off to blaze through this dungeon until they reach the place one Mr. Ariados has disappeared to, according to his friend Kirlia...

Except there's no Raichu. Whoops.]

(...I don't see, smell, or hear him! He was right behind me, wasn't he? I...

Hang on...

Drat. Nobody told me this dungeon forces you to go in alone!

I'll have to put this mission off. If I have to do this alone, I'll... I'll probably need more supplies.)

[He starts fiddling with the badge.

It doesn't seem to be doing anything.

And the more his fiddling is met with whole loads of nothing, the more anxious the kitty seems until he finally gives up. He's by now not so much pacing as pouncing urgently back and forth, rather fluffed-up, with a paw still darting up to his badge every so often.]

(Am I stuck here? Is my Explorer's Badge... malfunctioning, or something? That's never happened before! Unless... no, this is no dungeon I've ever heard of!

Where's Raichu? He's not here... if I'm in this strange place, he could be anywhere!

Or maybe he's at the dungeon?

I have to get back to headquarters and wait for him. Maybe he turned back immediately when he realized I was gone! Yes, I'll bet he's worried! I have to find my way back as soon as possible! Quickly!

There have to be Pokemon around here somewhere.)

Okay, do you guys remember the post where Looker was grabbing random people's items out of the weird bag on the ground? Well, thanks to a certain theme song being linked during one reaction, I was forever plagued with this visual in my head, and thus had to scribble draw it...

[In the CMA, a recent arrival! It's a rather displeased Silver. But he's distinctly different from the other Silver who dressed in Rocket uniform, in that this one looks so much more natural in it. Also given the absence of any signs of illness, the slightly different hairstyle and the gleaming red eyes, it's proof once more that this Silver is an alternate.

Not that he's quite aware of that yet, as he fiddles with his pokegear, which isn't functioning properly at the moment.]


Damn it. And those grunts are miles away when they're needed.

[Hey, check it out, it's Origin!Giratina. Sitting in the CMA. She seems to have obtained a book -- one of those thick old compilations of Sinnoh myths, from the looks of it. Nice to see someone taking an interest in literature, right?

...Or not. She's tearing the pages out and destroying them one by one. Crumpling, tearing and scattering the pieces haphazardly, folding mocking little paper airplanes and tossing them off to crash. Apparently Giratina isn't a fan of folklore. Considering how many pages that book has, she's making a pretty decent mess.

Well, at least it's a biodegradable mess.]
